Heather’s life started off as a “Miracle” being born with two large holes in her heart and many health complications. For days into weeks, then years, Doctors confidently doubted her survival; but God constantly intervened, disproving their claims. Doctor’s then referred to her as; “The Miracle Child.”
At the age of 3, Heather’s parents divorced and became emotionally and physically detached. From the ages of 5-12, Heather was raised by her Christian grandparents and older sister, in an elite, Christian, nurturing, but strict household; where expressing feelings and opinions was restricted.
At the age of 9 years, Heather experienced separation from her sister, constant humiliation from her 4th grade teacher, 2 years of bullying from upper classmates and then the death of her maternal Grandfather (Father figure) and paternal Grandmother, she then moved in w/her Mom, a women she hardly knew.
Heather suppressed all these emotions and began reading and writing poetry, as a solution to release the pain. Consequently, identifying the root causes of her pain were unaddressed, leading to emotional and mental distress, and toxic behaviors; such as low self-esteem, low-self worth, co-dependency and anxiety that she battled off and on with for the next 30 years.
At the age of 21, Heather began to acknowledge God in her life, after she gave a miracle natural birth to a 9 pound 9 oz baby girl. For the next 19 years, supernatural miracles and testimonies of Faith growing opportunities continued as Heather wavered back and forth with her Faith in Jesus Christ. Her experiences range from witnessing Angels, God’s “Holy Hands” catching her when she propelled from a 2 story treehouse, God saving her from a car hitting her head on, death, rape, poverty, addiction, celibacy struggles, and single parenting for 27 years. It wasn’t until one devastating event that caused Heather to painfully realize she needed to heal mentally, physically, and emotionally from the past, and completely surrender to God, in order to live peacefully, in the future.
