Heather's life began as a "Miracle" being born with two significant holes in her heart and numerous health issues. Her survival was highly doubted by doctors for days, weeks, and then years. However, God's constant intervention challenged their skepticism, earning Heather the nickname "The Miracle Child."
At the age of 4, Heather's parents divorced and became emotionally and physically detached, leaving her older sister and her to live with their Christian Grandparents, in an elite but strict environment. Heather often felt silenced and unaccepted.
From the ages of 9-12, she experienced relentless humiliation from her fourth-grade teacher, bullying from older classmates, separation from her sister, and then the loss of her maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother.
Heather began to suppress all these emotions and turned to reading and writing poetry to unconsciously escape the pain.
Consequently, identifying the root causes of her pain were unaddressed, and the consequences of low self-esteem, low-self-worth, co-dependency, and unhealthy behaviors continued for the next 30 years.
At the age of 21, Heather did begin to acknowledge the help of God in her life, after giving a miraculous natural birth to a 9-pound 9 oz baby girl. This caused her to reflect on past supernatural miracles she'd experienced and positioned her to reflect on God often, as she wavered back and forth between being a positive Christian influence and entertaining fleshly desires.
Some of Heather's experiences range from witnessing Angels, Godβs βHoly Handsβ catching her when she propelled from a 2-story treehouse, God saving her from a car hitting her head on, and overcoming numerous adversities such as death, rape, poverty, addiction struggles, celibacy challenges, and decades of being a single parent.
It wasn't until one last devastating event that caused Heather to painfully realize she needed to address the past, reevaluate her choices, and beliefs and release the emotional residue she had carried for so long. Determined to heal, Heather embarked on a path of many healing programs, techniques, strategies, and deepen her relationship with Jesus, so she could learn to love herself, God and Life...ENTIRELY, in order to live peacefully in the future.
She now is passionate about guiding women to do the same. π₯°
